Do taxi companies in San Francisco carry baby seats or can you request them?

My 1 year old nephew is coming over on holiday so what happens when we’re in town and need to get a taxi home?

There’s no way any cab in SF has a car seat for an infant.

Not SF related :
Most companies here if you request a seat 99% of the time they provide , maybe you have to make advanced booking for some companies tho . Failing that , if you have a kiddie you have a seat use your own .
