Books I bought for my iPhone Kindle app - are they downloadable to my new Kindle?

Asked by AlpineAl (7points) September 17th, 2009

I just got a Kindle for my birthday, but have been reading books I bought from Amazon on my iPhone with the Kindle app. Can I download the books I bought on the iPhone app to my new Kindle?

Welcome to fluther.

:-)

P.s. I don’t know. Never seen a kindle. I’m sure they’re great though.

Was just looking into this, the answer seems to be yes: you need to use something called “Whispersync” to accomplish it. Use the same account for the kindle as you do for the iPhone and you should be set.

Yes you can. I own both an iPhone and Kindle. Whatever buy for one can be downloaded to other via the managle kindle account tb on amazon.
