Anyone know any good hardstyle, trance, techno, up beat music?

Asked by xTheDreamer (897points) October 2nd, 2009

Yeah, my playlist is getting a bit dull so I was wondering if anyone know any good hardstyle, techno, trance up beat music such as Crookers, Ghetto Music by Oustkast feat Benny Benassi etc.

Basement Jaxx
Daft Punk
LCD Soundsystem
Lords of Acid

Ratatat is OK, doesn’t really fit in the genres described here though (then again, I’ve only heard one song of them, Wildcat, which might be an exception).

Anyway, listen to Armin van Buuren’s A State of Trance radio show (see di.fm, or a radio station in your country that airs it), it’ll help you to discover lots of great trance music.

@Vincentt Wildcat isn’t one of my favorites. I like Loud Pipes.

You should try maybe making a Pandora station with some of the music you know you like in these genres…I bet you’d find a ton of new bands you enjoy!

@deni Heh, yeah that’d be nice if only Pandora was available outside the US :(

@Vincentt it isn’t? i had no idea. thats a serious bummer :( i love pandora.

@Vincentt grooveshark

and i would say seventeen years most fits what this question is asking for, check my link above.Though i did just realize the sound quality in that video is pretty shitty.

@uberbatman I tried Grooveshark, which is OK, but not great. Though I might’ve discovered one or two songs with it. I just want to give Pandora a try since it’s so well-known and I didn’t quite grasp the concept when it was still available for me.
