This answer may help:

“I have had few patients come to me with this very problem, and as any good doctor would do, I researched into this matter with great enthusiasm and I am pleased of my result.

It is reccomended that you eat a lot of bread, and drink a lot, preferably milk. (Milk contains calcium, also known as ‘Ca’, which can dilate the amount of folatisodinating acid which is found in the membranes of the hair.

The fine duxlations of multicellular contoxapies will endure fixation when bread (and/or liquid) is taken down the throat. The berimiters of the hair will become very granuble and break down the barriers, leaving it to dissolve. However, this process may take a while and patience is required (it may take up to 3 weeks, but it is worth it).

This is not a life threatening situation. The stermidable salinatates found in mucous glands will eventually, over time, break down the hair. Resulting in a 6month wait.

You could also physically remove the hair, however, some people do not like the discomfort of this procedure and I would advise using my other suggestions as above.

All the best,

Dr. J Khaghn”

And then there is this answer. It doesn’t have as much gobbledegook in it. And there is more here.

BTW, did you know that acid reflux can be one of the causes of asthma? It causes inflammation of the throat and associated structures, and sometimes the acid even gets into the tube to the lungs. Have you ever been checked for acid reflux?

Never for acid reflux , just the asthma when i was a little nipper .
Will have to read into this acid reflux malarky . Cheers .

@Darwin @sandystrachan I too am Asthmatic and didn’t think I had acid reflux until my Asthma specialist prescribed medicine for it and, oh my goodness, such a difference it does make!

Treating my acid reflux helped my asthma a lot. I may still have an attack if exposed to certain triggers, such as mice, cigarette smoke, anaesthesia and certain perfumes, but nowhere near as frequently.

I was going to suggest eating bread as well.

Wouldn’t eating something rough, like crackers or chips, maybe help scrape it down into the stomach?
