When were you burned (or pleasantly surprised) when buying an album (CD for you young whippersnappers) for a single?

I was burned when I picked up Fine Young Cannibals for She Drives me Crazy, exactly one good song. I was however, very pleasantly surprised by Spoon’s Gimme Fiction which I bought based on I Turn my Camera On. I love the entire album as much as I love that song. What album album did you waste your money on because of a great single? Which was a gem?
