Chopin? Schumann? Schubert? Brecht and Weill? Astor Piazzola? Gabby Pahinui? Bob Wills and his Texas Playboys? Ella Fitzgerald? Django Reinhardt?

Kings of Leon is similar to those guys – especially their latest: Only By The Night.

You could always go for “new” old music. Nothing wrong with Oingo Boingo or the Beatles.

Or you could try Pandora or Last.fm for more music, similar to what you like but not the same.

What are you really looking for? Do you want new and different indie bands? Or do you want more established bands that you may not have heard of or had much interaction with? And what kind of music do you like? Answers to these questions will help us figure out more music for you.

Check out the Decemberists, specifically the crane wife album. They are a constant favorite of mine.

Download the SXSW music festival torrents. 1,200 free songs from last year’s festival.
