Where should I spend 3 days near Amsterdam?

I travel to Amsterdam a lot for work and know it very well, in fact I lived there for a summer (and I don’t smoke much so I’m not interested in staying in the red light district with the tourists and getting stoned). This trip I have 3 extra days and want to go somewhere nice, not too far from there. Suggestions?

I have always wanted to go to Brugge, Belguim which is about 2.5 hours south of Amsterdam

I’m sorry but I can’t make heads or tails of this question. You say you want to go somewhere, do you mean you are sick and tired of A’dam and want to spend the remaining time in a different town? Or do you want places to visit in A’dam?

At least give us something to work with here, what would you be interested in, how far can it be? what time of year are you going?

Lot’s of interesting people there (and I’ll be there too), not much stoners but Amsterdam culture at it’s best.

Oh….cool i live in amsterdam…..there are many wonderful places…and moreover ppl are very welcoming…so i hink you would be facing no hardships in my land…...enjoy…
