How do I open .swf files on my mac?

I tried to play a .swf game (Star Guard) on my computer, but it just opened up another flash game with it. If I right-click on Star Guard, and select “Open With”, it just gives me a list of other flash games that I have on my mac. Help?

The easiest way is to try opening it with a browser like Safari or Firefox for example.

There is also a program that specifically plays Flash files, aptly called Flash Player. You can get it at the Adobe website for free: link
