How would I cite the description of a piece of legislation in APA format?

Asked by MissAnthrope (21511points) October 18th, 2009

I have to do a brief paper on a piece of natural resources legislation. This is what I need to cite, but as it’s an Act, it has no author per se. I looked at OWL, but the only one that comes close to fitting is the “online encyclopedias and dictionaries” and I need to make sure that’s correct.

Any suggestions?

Go to bottom of the this page.
This one I found on wikianswers.

In middle of this page, you’ll see US Code and US statutes at large.

You may try Universities/colleges which teach such legal matters. Go with your professor/instructor/guide/editor for correct citation.
