Can I throw a party, invite girls, and center it around the video game, Rock Band?

Asked by VoodooLogic (729points) February 5th, 2008

You see, my house just got the game and we are hooked! I was going to invite a small contingency of beer drinking friends to help me experience the awesomeness. But, has anyone ever done this sort of thing before? is it lame and I’m just fooling myself to think I can rock out my living room?

If you’re hooked, other people will be too. But remember only so many can play at a time. Good luck and rock on!

the only reason i’m not playing right now is because I have too much to do :-( lol

Ummm, you will have beer there. Everything else will work itself out.

The girls ain’t goin!

Perchik's avatar

That’s not true. I have a ton of female friends who are more addicted to it than I am.

If you are going to invite people over to play RockBand with you and have fun…Cool.

If you are planning on “putting on a show”....Lame.

Girls dig RockBand!

Of course you can. Who’s going to stop you?

@cwilbur good point. I guess I want people to come and have a good time – I was wondering if RockBand is a draw.

Well, that depends on your friends—I’d probably find some reason to wash my hair, but I’m probably not one of the people you’re thinking of inviting.

Any body in the ‘inner Richmond’ / seacliff area like Rockband?

Yeah I’m pretty sure that would be good.
