Try Steve Dahl’s pod cast. The Stever was one of the first shock jocks in the country. He started in Detroit and became very, very popular in Chicago when he went to WLS with his partner Garry Meier. He’s tamed himself quite a bit but hasn’t lost his edge. He’s calmed to a point where he even has a column in the Chicago Tribune Give it a shot!

I don’t know if these talks are available as podcasts, but you should check them out anyway. Informative, inspiring, and on all different kinds of subjects. TED.com

RISK, (funny) storytelling hosted by my former sketchwriting teacher and favourite red-headed gay from the old MTV sketch show, The State, Kevin Allison. I’ve seen some of these shows live, and he gets good comics to tell stories, like Janeane Garafalo and his old State buddies like Michael Showalter and Michael Ian Black.

It’s not always about physics, but RadioLab is always awesome and fun and educational. It’s “edutainment” at its finest.
