Is there a trick or treat route calculator?

Asked by FiRE_MaN (684points) October 31st, 2009

Is there someplace on the internet or a way to calculate a route for trick or treating where you hit the most houses possible in a certain time frame or certain distance? That’d be kind of cool.

I’m sure there’s an app for that.

Jeez. Back in my day we just spent hours walking from house to house with our friends. We didn’t worry too much about the best route and who had the best candy. Although we did tend to skip the houses that just gave out toothbrushes and religious paraphernalia.

I’m sure some ex-NASA engineer now working at Google on the Google Earth project has kids with an incredibly accurate and efficient map around their neighborhood. ” Go left around the big old tree in the Ellington’s front yard, then cut left to avoid the rake sticking out from the 2nd bush on your right.” You get the picture [pun intended]!

You could always trick or treat on a Segway PT. Not only would you cover alot more ground alot faster, you’d have a device to carry around that massive amount of candy you’d be collecting.

Yeah. They’ve got one to help you get the maximum candy in the least time.
Here you go.
