I need help, how do I delete all my contacts off my ipod touch?

Asked by scogo (9points) November 9th, 2009

I put my contacts on my Ipod Touch, now I want to give it to my daughter. How can I delete the contacts as a group (Ipod seems to only allow me to do it one at a time)?

Does she have a separate computer (perhaps one that also has all of her music on it?)

Why not just sync the iPod Touch with her computer? It will wipe whatever music, etc, you have on there, but will also wipe your contacts out.

I think, anyway.

That is a good idea, but I don’t have anything else (ie music, movies) other than apps on it, and I don’t want to lose those.

Sometimes there is no easy way to do something.

I am hoping there is another way, but…

Maybe you could wipe out all your data and then re sync with your computer. When it asks you to sync contacts press no (assuming your contacts are already on your computer). Then give it to your daughter.

When you are syncing with your computer, is there a “contacts” tab in itunes? Can you just tell it to turn that off?
