Where is the best place to get a piece of cake in Seattle?

Asked by prettybabybug (6points) November 16th, 2009

I’m looking for a good slice of cake, chocolate or carrot, that I can pick up in the downtown area. It has to have good frosting, none of this shortening stuff.

Columbia City Bakery, hands down!

Grand Central Bakery in Pioneer square usually has both carrot and chocolate, and they are both delicious.

Trophy Cupcakes is my favorite. I make special trips there when I am in Seattle.

@Marina – Yum! Oh yes, that’s a great place…I wasn’t even thinking cupcakes. Cupcake Royale is also a good one.

Kingfish Cafe makes in house Red Velvet that is absolutely incredible. It is a great southern restaurant in general.
