I just borrowed the book Oblomov from the library. Did you read it? Is it interesting/ inspiring?

I read it in bed a long time ago. It made me sleepy.

I’ve heard about it, a friend of mine had to read it. She said that the begining bored her but it picked up abit later and made up for it. Though even later a couple parts were dull as well, but overall she said she liked it. I don’t know if this helps at all, but whether or not you will like a book depends upon your taste in literature. Therefore in order to know if a book is interesting/inspirational read it and determine that on your own

I wouldn’t have checked it out, but seeing as you already have you may as well read it. Give it a shot at least.

@janbb…...... LOL ! ..got it !

@Lovethesun Any author who can be called the Russian Hamlet because he answered the question “to be or not to be ” by saying, “no!” HAS to be interesting. Especially since he also ultimately is said to have inspired Beckett’s “Waiting for Godot”.

Have fun!

It is worth reading in order to make subtle and arcane jokes, that only other readers will laugh over.
