What are the benifits of wearing underarmor during sports/working out?

What are the benifits besides catching sweat?

I like it because by wicking the sweat away from my skin it eliminates chafing and rashes. Plus it feels good and keeps the muscles warm. Compression is good too, so they say!

Actually the benefit is that it doesn’t catch sweat. Our football coach explain this to us. Cotton and other cloth material catches the sweat, and if you sweat too much, it can make it hard to breathe. and its more comfortable then a heavy sweaty shirt.

all the above are true, also by wicking away the sweat from your body it will keep you warmer through periods of inactivity

I wear one so I do sweat more.

I have no idea about calories but you’d imagine that not feeling uncomfortable while working out will help you decide to try to burn more =)
