What Do You Want For Christmas?

Now, this is a purely selfish question, and I want people to think in terms of gifts, not the easy ones like “I want my kids to be home” or “I want to have another baby” Or “I want a SO to share the holidays with”. Think gifts to you. Write what one realistic gift is that you would like to receive, then list one that you would like if whoever is giving could spend just a little bit more on you. Do you feel guilty for thinking about people giving you gifts? Are you purely a gift giver at heart?

I would like to get “Under the Dome” by Stephen King. In hardback. If money were no object, I would like to get the best seats in the house for myself, my wife, and my dad to see U2 June 20th, 2010 at Qwest Field in Seattle, WA.

Realistically, I think I can expect a speaker dock for my iPod. I’ve sent my husband several email hints. :)
If money were no object, I should say I’d love for someone to buy me a car. We have one car at the moment, and juggling that is such a pain. However, you said selfish, so my true wish is…a really nice macro lens for my Canon DSLR camera. i want it i want it i want it i want it i want it sooooooooo bad!!!!

I want my daughter back. She was stolen on Christmas day last Christmas, and I have not seen her since. I don’t care about anything else beyond that.
I’d like my car back (or a newer better one), and to spend New Year’s in Mazatlan with the Missus (she’s from there and is going home for New Year’s).

@hungryhungryhortence The Sig’s are a great idea and almost shook me from my stalwart wish for a Shopsmith, or a table saw, band saw, drum sander and lathe. Are you reading this honey? I would take tools over firearms. Just in case you were watching.
@majorrich: make a wish list on the computer complete with links to specific models of goodies you want. You never know.

I offered the missus a choice between two different styles of diamond earings… she said “you got me diamonds last christmas.. take me to Disneyland instead!” (she knows how much i love disneyland). How lucky am I to have such an awesome fiancee?

@Dr_C I hear Disneyland is awesome, my wife has been there half a dozen times (always has lived in WA), but I have no desire to go (it’s in California I hear).
@TheCreative they are the best, I have read 4 Dark Tower books, Slaughterhouse V, and “UR” which Stephen King wrote just for the Kindle 2. It is awesome.
@MrBr00ks and @hungryhungryhortence being a SoCal native i´ve been to Disneyland at least 4 or 5 times a year since i was born (except this year). My mother even went about 3 times while pregnant with me. We as a family love it and I personally enjoy it way too much. Every time we go I morph into a 5 year old boy. I know every last part of that park and love every second I spend there. The missus knows me too well.
(All the same while shopping last night i splurged and got her the latest sunglasses from Coach… she loved them so i couldn´t resist).
