What google waves should I sign up to?

Asked by kyle94481 (214points) November 29th, 2009

I just received a Google Wave invite this morning, and would like to know if anyone here has any experience with it, and would like to help a newbie out, it would be greatly appreciated. Also, I heard that you can “subscribe” to waves in Google Wave, what’s the scoop on that?

In Wave, search for ‘with:public’ to find waves which anybody can participate in

I got one today, too! I’m jazzed, but feel like I don’t really get it yet. Could we create a Fluther wave? Would anyone even be interested in such a thing?

@MissAnthrope A fluther wave sounds very interesting, although just how we could get that to work without it flooding us with information, I’m not sure.

Well, I was thinking more along the lines of a wave for jellies, rather than an official Fluther wave. I have never yet once been able to successfully use the Fluther chatroom.. there have been so many links posted to it that I’m not sure if any of them are even valid. Also, everyone listed as my contact is really no one I want to wave with and I don’t think I have any invites. So, I thought it might be fun for the jellies who are trying out Wave.
