Can’t go wrong with the Cooper if you have a dealer in your area.

Toyota Corolla or Honda Civic…. buy 2–3y old , low mileage and avoid the dealers [as I suggested in your earlier post]

I’d take the mini.

If you’re going for the mini- I hope your children and dog are small. It’s cramped to me.

Go with the Imprezza or the Matrix. Both a good quality but check the insurance rates between them. Resale might be higher for the Imprezza because so few people give them up whereas the Matrix often gets leased rather than bought and is often traded in for a larger Toyota.

Out of those choices I’d say go for the Impreza..it’s a good reliable car and it’s fun to drive from what my friend who owns one tells me. If you’re gonna get a Toyota I wouldn’t go for a matrix..you can’t go wrong with a corolla or Camry. They’re both very reliable and efficient cars that will hold their value for a while.
