Which verizon phone should i get?

Asked by sunya13 (169points) December 2nd, 2009

i’m torn between the Cheaper!:D….but not as cool :( Razzle

or the more expensive :’(....but way cooler :D! Chocolate Touch

both meet my basic requirements (such as an exceptional music player, full key board, and gps)...but the big toss up is whether or not i should pay extra for all the awesome features the Chocolate Touch has…or save my cash for more important things and go with the Razzle

????

what do you think…(preferably someone with on of these phones)?

I dunno, the droid is really nice if you can get it for 200.

Droid.

Hacked iPhones won’t work on Verizon 3G network. Only t-Mobile will work.

Free and awesome Google GPS can’t be beat if you are going with a data plan.

When someone is asking about a $30 phone, how is it helpful to suggest a $200 phone?

arpinum's avatar

@pdworkin The OP didn’t specify if they were getting a data plan or not. When adding in the cost of a data plan, an extra $130 is less than 10% increase in total cost. And when your able to use the data plan so much better with the $130 phone, it makes the data plan that much better of a deal. That is why I said the droid if they had a data plan.

Look at the reviews for both phones on Amazon.

If the full keyboard is important then avoid the Touch. Touchscreens are rarely good for typing and those that are are too big to put on a cell-phone.

Personally, I don’t text much so I get by just fine with my Trance; a nice little slider music-phone with a decent speaker and GPS.
