UK Users: Will you rage against the X Factor this Christmas?

Asked by RareDenver (13173points) December 6th, 2009

There is a bit of a campaign going to ensure that The X Factor don’t get the Christmas No 1 this year by encouraging people to buy “Killing In The Name” by Rage Against The Machine. I already have it but I’ll be buying a copy, will you and what do you think to the campaign in general?

To show your rage you must buy something?

I think it is all marketing to get people to buy a song en-masse as a pseudo protest.

Some clever people are likey making good money.

isn’t x-factor that show where the participants have to do really disgusting “courage tests” to win that mystery show with Jonathan Frakes?

Vote against all of it by not buying anything at all for Christmas for anyone. Make gifts or do nice things for others.

That will show them all!

@Dog – If people are making money from it then its a scam. Ever heard of a cult? haha

@Darwin – I don’t buy christmas presents for anyone ;) But for some reason I normally get a few.. lol, I ask for nothing. :(

Either way X Factor is crap and should be taken of the TV. :)

@pjanaway – Then you are one of some who are taking a real stand. :-)

PS I’ve never seen X Factor. I live in the States.

X factor has taken all the fun out of the Christmas number 1 spot, I used to love the ran to the Christmas number 1 but now I know x factor will win every year sucking all the fun out.
