Not with your (friend who is of age) to a public drinking facility. Although, throwing a party at someones house and making your newly of age friend get the booze that could be a better alternative.

There is a row of Indian restaurants on 6th st between 1st and 2nd. I’ve never been carded at any of them, the food is awesome, and a lot of friends who went to high school in the city would go there to get their underage drinking on.

I wouldn’t count on these answers though because no one can tell you for sure if you’re going to get carded or not.

There probably won’t be many. You’re better off going to a neighborhood bar in a quieter neighborhood. The LES is a cop magnet. Any place with a bouncer will be sure to card.

Or you could always buy alcohol and have the party indoors. It should draw less attention anyway, as long as you don’t act like a bunch of idiots.

Another option is getting a fake id. A lot of places that do passport photos also do fake ids. If you’re under 21, it doesn’t make a lot of sense not to have one.

Good luck!
