I have an "Ask.com" search bar besides my URL search bar on FireFox. I didn't download it and don't want it, how do I get rid of it?

I drew a map for it. I hope that’s what you meant.

Ah, yes that’s exactly what you meant. Thank you.

You probably downloaded software or a update like java etc and it was part of it, many times a tool bar will be a Freebie as part of a software and you must uncheck a box in order to not have it install along with the software. At the first of the year Java was automatically installing Open office with its update unless you unchecked the box, just a example.
