Where can i print 24x36 sized posters? Cost?

Asked by iRemy_y (550points) December 28th, 2009

I draw a lot, mainly on computer programs, and most of my drawings are poster-size quality. now more and more of my friends are requesting pictures and posters and i want to be able to print them out and sell them. Does anyone know were i can print them out and how much it would cost?

Although you can consider Kinko’s you probably would save some money if you just tried to find a large format ink jet printer. That is what you are looking for. Costs are going to vary widely on the low qty range you are talking about. My guess is @ $30–70. Why the large variance? When you are doing a qty of 1 or 2 you primarily are just paying for prepress time and a little on printing. A lot of printers won’t want to deal with that small $ amount unless it is at a premium. If you ever get to where you want to print 250 or above it would be worth your while to look at offset. Hope this helps.
