Why does the engagement ring insert in Ring finger?
Why doesn’t it insert in fore or middle finger?

The tradition is that there is a vein that runs directly from the ring finger on the left hand directly to the heart. Putting the ring there shows that the person who gave you the ring is “close to your heart.”

In some cultures, a wedding ring is worn on the right hand, and not the left.

The naming of the finger ‘The ring Finger’ sort of gives it away…. :o)

Also it wouldnt look right on your big toe.

it was a ancient Rome tradiction. basically it was thought that a vein ran from the heart to this finger… I like to think it’s true :)

Doesn’t every vein run to the heart? Isn’t that the whole point of veins?

I’d be just a tad worried about inserting a ring into your finger.

Romans didin’t know that every vein run to the heart… and it was quite romantic!

I hope that your question is just a small problem with English. Rings are warn on fingers, not inserted in them. I couldn’t stand the pain and don’t think my wife would like that either.

@Ron_C I also noticed that I wrote warn instead of worn. That was a typing error, not a language error. Sorry.
