I admit to missing it a little. I’m not sure what brainiac thought a fancy asterisk would be superior.

They might be feeling fed up of smiling, with the recession going on.

I think WalMart was the leader in the recession. they made money hand over fist. would that be a good reason to bring back ‘the smiley face’?

erichw1504's avatar

No, but I do miss the Noid from Domino’s pizza.

Likeradar's avatar

Nope. There is nothing about Wal Mart that I would miss if they vanished- including the whole damn store itself.

@john65pennington I really wouldn’t know, I’m not American, I just wanted to answer your question. You said “was”, you guys out the recession now then?

john65pennington's avatar

The recession is still going strong in America. thanks for answering. where do you live?

AnnieB's avatar

I didn’t know it was gone…I guess, I don’t miss it.

Dibley, thats great. are you familiar with Nashville, Tennesssee?

Sophief's avatar

Erm I’ve heard of it yes?!

NUNYA's avatar

I didn’t notice it was gone. hahaha guess I need to pay closer attention to deteails.

@erichw1504 I believe they are planning on bringing back the Noid.

Dibley. Nashville is the music capital of the world. mainly, country music, but many other popular songs were also recorded in Nashvile. many recording and movie stars live here. glad to meet you. my last name is very English…......Pennington. are there many people in England with my last name?

Sophief's avatar

@john65pennington I don’t know anyone with your last name. Without sounding rude, what has Nashville got to do with me living in England? I’m confused.

I am glad the smiley face is gone.

“He” was smug and condescending.

john65pennington's avatar

No connection at all. i just have never talked directly to anyone from another country. you are my very first. thank you.

I guess I don’t miss it, I didn’t even notice it was gone >.>

eponymoushipster's avatar

maybe they’re targeting their key demographic and switching to a face with two missing teeth and a neck tattoo.

CMaz's avatar

They are replacing the smiley face with a big bouncing boob.

The slogan being, “suckling down prices.”

ChocolateReigns's avatar

Nope. I hate it when the dude handing out stickers tries to give me one. I think it’s cuz I’m short…. :( They still are giving out the smiley face stickers near me.

stranger_in_a_strange_land's avatar

Never even noticed that they stopped using it. I find everything about Wal-Mart repugnant and I avoid it like HIV.

Austinlad's avatar

I can’t begin to tell you how tired I am of smiley faces in general, so no, I don’t miss it AT ALL.

Sophief's avatar

@john65pennington That’s ok. Pleased I’m your first! It’s very cold here right now, what part of America are you in?
