Where can I find the value of these Star Wars CCG cards?

Asked by gemiwing (14718points) January 8th, 2010

I cleaned out a closet and found my old set of Star Wars game cards. I want to sell them but have no idea how to price them.

They don’t have the original box or wrappers on them. There are some that I think might be rare, but can’t find a comprehensive guide.

I’ve looked on ebay, amazon, craigslist and googled but still can’t find a way to know if these are collectible or are just ‘old junk’.

Anyone have any ideas?

Are they the Decipher or Wizards of the Coast cards?

I think I still have cards I bought back in 1995 (Decipher). I’m curious about this too.

there used to be a magazine called beckett but that might have been just sports cards; there was a similar mag for MTG cards, but I’m stumped for the name. this is one reference I found http://find-ccg.com/Section/Star_Wars.html and I think another a friend of mine used to price and sell a bunch of MTG cards was trollandtoad.com, but they may just be MTG.

I’d try a local comic book store or CCG dealer and ask about price guides.

@phoenyx They’re the Decipher ones.

@wonderingwhy Thanks for the links. I went to the first one already but I’m going to go check out the second.
