Photo Booth Question!

Asked by lanahopple (455points) January 9th, 2010

So I went to my friends house a while back and we made this sick video, and she did something to the computer where it made our voices go really high or really low. Does anyone know how to do that?!

You can’t do it with Photoshop, I know that much.

I’m 99.9999% sure.

EDIT: Original question said Photoshop.

Photo booth? Voices?

I think you may be talking about garageband, or perhaps audacity.

Let me know if you are, I’ll give you some steps to follow.

@J0E I dunno…It’s theoretically possible. I might poke around and see what I can come up with.

The easiest principle I’m guessing is to speed up and slow down your audio. I know that you can do this in Final Cut Pro easily. Likely the video would then be out of sync with the audio however. There might be something that you can adjust the pitch- this would do it without taking it out of sync. You can definitely adjust pitch in Garage Band. Does Photo Booth make videos? I guess it probably does… look for something that says Pitch or something like that.
