Why does it seem only MLB players wear the Phiton necklaces?

Anyone who watches baseball has surely noticed this. Most of the players wear these “Energy Necklaces” (http://www.phitenusa.com/).

I am just wondering why we don’t see tennis, soccer, basketball players wearing them as frequently.

Any ideas?

It could have something to do with not being allowed to wear jewelry in certain sports. I know that there are a lot of golfers who wear phiten and trion-z bracelets while golfing.
