How long do images remain in Google search?

I posted some photos on a sharing site by mistake. Nothing NSFW, just not to be shared.

I found the images indexed and available on Google image search.

The pictures are in one folder and I made the folder private. How long will it take for Google, and Bing for that matter, to eliminate the images from search?

The pictures are most likely tangled up in the interwebs until you delete them from your profile and wait for the site to get indexed again.

You can try going here, but Google is a big company, and it probably has a lot of stuff to sift through before they get to yours.
