Curious, I’ve actually asked a few women before. Either they’re just being their usual sexually-deceptive selves, or they’re telling the truth when they say they think it’s gross. That’s just the perception on my neck of the woods though. I’m sure it’s different for all women.

I think male sexuality is more visually stimulated than female sexuality. Women respond more to relationship, closeness, kindness, petting and such. Evolution has developed in each species some trigger that causes either the male or the female to be sexually aggressive when the time is right. In humans, the male is often the initiator, and while pheromones may play some part, sexy looks are often the first thing that gets the guy’s interest. It’s dirty work, folks, but somebody’s got to do it or the next generation is doomed.

Lots of women will say, and with apparent honesty, that they don’t like to look at heterosexual porn either. Most women I have talked to about it claimed to dislike gay porn, and I believe them. Interestingly, two women I once knew kept asking me to make love with a close male friend of mine and let them watch. They said it would be terrifically hot. They were lesbian lovers themselves.

Don’t know how you would ever get a consensus (= general agreement); I’m sure there’s wide variance in tastes for any kind of porn as well as plenty (probably a majority) who don’t like it at all. In general I have no appetite for porn, but some male on male could be interesting.

No. I did not say that. I don’t watch porn at all. The original question didn’t say anything about “watching,” and not everything is video, after all. There are magazines, and I’ve seen some and shared some.

Really, dear, there’s no need for a cross-examination. I responded reasonably to the original question. And I responded to your assertion on behalf of all straight men and women by saying, actually, you don’t speak for all straight men and women. That was my point.
