This scar on my face is really painful. What should I do for it?

Asked by ChocolateReigns (5624points) January 18th, 2010

I’ve had this scar since I was about 2 or 3.
I was pushing my imaginary friend (I was 3, for goodness sakes!) on the swing and the swing cam back and hit me right next to my nose. It cut really deep, so bad I had to get stitches.
The scar is right next to my nose, like in the corner (parallel to my nose) where my nose meets my face.
Usually I hardly notice it, but today it hurts when I touch it. I don’t care about people seeing it. I’m not self-conscious or anything. It’s just really painful. It’s kinda hard to explain the pain. My nose has been stuffed up lately so when I blow my nose I end up touching it, so it’s kinda hard not to touch it. At first I thought it was my sinuses, but it’s just the part under the scar. It might even be the bone that hurts. What could I do for it?

Is your pain on the top of the skin or inside?

@john65pennington I really can’t tell. It’s both, I guess. But I know it has to have something to do with the scar because it’s only in that one spot.

Put essential oil on it and do some message(it’ll make your face relax and help to relieve your pain).

describe the pain….is it sensitive? has this happened before?

@Marie123 It’s sensitive. No I haven’t had it happen before. Well maybe, I’ve had the scar for a while now, but not that I can remember.
