There is a Vitamin E oil that may help. JASON’s Vitamin E mentions on its label that it can be used to remove stretch marks. I wonder if it might be effective for the type of scarring you are talking about. After shower or bath, apply a light layer of the oil on your skin. It softens dry skin and it also has some healing properties.

Try ointments that have zinc in it as well. March is not a lot of time so you may want to consider some body make up to help cover it up. I once bought some foundation that was said to be something actors use on set. It was very good but it was given to me. It practically took an act of God to remove it but it was great when I went clubbing and didn’t want my make up to run. Go to big department stores and ask if they have body make up or ask a dermatologist.

@Pandora , well I will try, but isnt it maybe too expensive

Probably is but it doesn’t hurt to ask first. The zinc ointment can be bought anywhere over the counter.

If you can get to a dermatologist, he or she might be able to give you a prescription for a lightening cream that is the strongest, most effective salve against scars. I agree though, that you may need to look at makeup for March.

@janbb , I went to a skin doctor.. ( is that a dermatologist?) she said there was nothing to do I had to be like this with the scars and saying they would heal themselves:(

Yes it is. Then I would try the Vitamin E and makeup route.

@Thesexier If your “skin doctor” told you to “live with it” you went to the wrong doctor. Ask your primary care doctor for a referral to a dermatologist who can actually help you, that’s what you pay them for. Any doctor who says ‘live with it’ is not doing their job. You have to be more assertive. Tell the doctor what you need and why, and if they won’t help you, ask the doctor who will help.

Yarnlady is right. That dermatologist was crap. There were so many things he/she could’ve recommended. Chemical peal, or even exfoliating or a lightening cream. I happen to know there is a cosmetic foundation that they have. I saw a show on tv about this girl getting married and she has these brown bumps on her arm all her life. She wanted to wear sleeveless for the wedding but she hated her arms. The doctor used a kind of exfoliating machine but it would take weeks for the results, but it got her arm smooth enough and then she gave her a body foundation to cover up in the mean time. The doc said she gives it to patients with skin allergies that leave scars. They put it on the young lady and she was extremely pleased with the instant results.
