Pest control question...

Asked by GD_Kimble (2285points) February 29th, 2008

I live in NYC and the parks dept. has stepped up their extermination of rats in the Union Square area by spreading poson all over. It seems to be working there’s (almost) not a rat to be found. Yet, the squirrels are as abundant as ever. How are they keeping the squirrels out of the rat poison?

Rats have a certain travel pattern and poison traps can be placed accordingly, these also aren’t normally where squirrels look for food.
