Does the Blackberry Gemini 8520 look like the Blackberry 8900 on the screen?

Ok, I need to know if anyone here who owns a blackberry 8520 ever saw a blackberry 8900 working and want to know if they look the same on the screen?

They’re very similar. . . of course the 8520 was designed as a more affordable option for a consumer to enter the blackberry world. It’s like a Toyota compared to a Lexus, same difference.

Keep talking Blackberries. I want one, I think. My 2 years is up & Verizon is after me to upgrade. I was thinking about going to a BB. What’s a good model? I’ve never texted before, so this will be all new.

(I’m sorry 2late2be…I’m kinda hijacking your question.)

@jbfletcherfan go to a Verizon Wirless store and take as much time as you need to get to know the device for your self. I personally use a BB 9700

@jbfletcherfan I had the 8900 and the screen and pictures are BEAUTIFUL!! To text they’re better with QWERTY keyboard.. I personally think i prefer the 8900 but had to sell it because now im living in Mexico and need to get a Mexican phone to get better signal, and i have the oportunity to het the 8520 for less than $200, and i cant afford the 8900.

I believe they use the same screen . . . it’s the build that is the difference.

My Verizon account is online. I’ve been looking at their phones on there. It’s WAY cheaper to buy them online. Good rebates. Even a good friend of mine who sells them said to get it online. Now I just have to figure out which one. I’m not concerned with the cost. I just want a good one that’s easy to use.

@jbfletcherfan there’s no better way to find out which one is best for you than to try them out in person at a VZW store. You need not buy it there, just test drive it…. when you find your match, get back online and find your deal… my company has an account with VZW and everyone mentioning affiliation with the company enjoys 15% discount on phones and monthly service fees. . . . even you will qualify….
