What are different ways that goods or events are advertised?

Asked by Fatfacefun (144points) January 24th, 2010

I have to right a list but I just can’t think so far I’ve got;

Television advertisements,
Billboards,
Busses,
Bus stops,
Internet advertisements,
Fliers.

I know there’s way more but I just can’t think…

Some parking lots have ads printed on the lines between spots.
Blimps.
Planes carrying those banners behind them.
Many cartoons are essentially long commercials so that children will need the latest action figure or whatever.
Sponsorships

Ooh, look into the advertising for Blair Witch Project. They did a really interesting ad campaign.

On people Some boxers let advertisers put messages on their backs.
In public restrooms. Shut the door and there’s their message at eye level.
Getting their products easily seen in television shows or movies and cinema movies.
Here’s a gory thought. Funeral Homes advertising on the inside roof of ambulances.
Basically any way that attracts someone’s attention long enough for it to stop their train of thought and direct it towards the product.
