download version 1.1.4, then it should stop freezing, I haven’t had a problem since I did it

Mine appears to crash sometimes but not freeze. It seems to happen on pages with many large images. I’m on 1.1.4 and it has made no difference.
I suspect there is a cache memory limit which becomes full up. Hopefully this is being fixed as we speak.

hold the home button and the hold button for about 8 seconds.. keep holding it even after you see the shutdown screen.. this resets the iphone or the touch.

I’ve noticed if I don’t turn off my iPhone for a long time Safari kicks me out more frequently. But then I just turn it off and turn it on again and it seems to stop. I think its because the cache gets emptied when you restart it. Also whenever I’m playin music while surfin the web it happens all the time

Go to the settings menu, clear cache, and cookies. This should solve your problem. Do it about once a week.
