Alternative to the Tefal Actifry?

Asked by Kade13 (185points) February 22nd, 2010

I’m searching for a similar item to the Tefal Actifry so i was wondering if anyone knows of any other similar products on the market the do the same thing but perhaps at a lower price. Really like the idea of making nice low fat chips with minimal mess and smell but the price tag seems a little high.

Also any reviews that anyone may have of the Actifry would also be great.. I’m very curious to know how much of a taste difference there is between chips cooked in this and deep fried.

Try steaming your food. It is much healthier and less expensive than deep frying everything. Low fat deep fryer? That’s an oxymoron!
