I need a fun,reasonable, beachy girls getaway destination ... any ideas?

Grand Cayman is a good place to go.

My standard answer when talking about reasonable and beachy: St. Pete Beach. Plenty of sun, plenty of drink, plenty of nightlife, plenty of culture, all price ranges of accommodations, and darn reasonable price to get to during most seasons.

Cayman islands, Hawaii, Key West have fun!

Key West is fun, but the beaches aren’t great; I would go with St.Pete Beach although Florida is having a very cold winter os it would depend on when you plan to go. By April, it should be lovely there. You don’t say where you are coming from.

I am in Dallas, but friend is in cold Chicago… so anywhere would be warmer for her!

Depending on how far you want to go, or what you want to get out of the trip – you’ve got a lot of options!

In the US – Head to San Diego for beach fun, or Florida which can be cheap and relaxing.

Out of the country – you could easily hit one of the more mainstream places in Mexico which often have package deals. Getting her out of the country may be enough to help her with a perspective change.

If you have the time and really want to get out of the country, Thailand is really, really inexpensive, sunny, relaxing and many of the locals speak English. Massages on the beach run for about $6 – $10 for two hours. Dreamy.

Texas has some of the nicest beaches in the country. I suggest Galveston, or Corpus Christi.
