Does Ryannair or Flybe go to the Greek Islands? If so, you can’t go wrong on just about any of them; Santorini, Mykonos, Paros…....

I’ve heard Portugal isn’t very expensive, but I really don’t know if that is still true.

Prague! Its a three hour flight, but you can go Easyjet and once you get there, everything’s cheap (especially if you stay in the suburbs rather than the city centre). Its a great city.

Orlando is cheap.

You live in England and you can’t figure out where to go?! omg. LHR is like the gateway airport to the world, after all. Just get thee on an airfare site and start looking at prices. Plus, the GBP is worth more than the Euro, isn’t it? That doesn’t speak to buying power, but it is a good sign, and airfare is the biggest expense with travel anyway. Maybe you could take a train somewhere? That would be better for the environment, and more enjoyable (at least it is for me).

Oh, if Prague is possible as @downtide suggests, I think that is a fantastic idea. I had no idea if it is expensive or not, but everyone I know who has been, including my husband and aunt, and some other flutherites, say Prague is the most gorgeous city they have ever been to, and want to go back.

Prague is cheap if you choose a hotel that’s out of the centre of town. I stayed for a week in a cheap little hotel, it was very basic but it was great (and there was an awesome restaurant across the road). Food is very cheap too.
