Safari won't start in Windows 7?

Asked by Gruz06 (811points) March 23rd, 2010

All of a sudden Safari stopped working. It won’t even open. I click on the icon and then the hour glass pops up and then goes away. I’ve re-installed it, but it still does the same thing. Help!

Soemtimes windows needs to have the latest updates for stuff to work right soooooo Uninstall it, restart windows and go to internet explorer and go to windows update and make sure the system has all updates- restart and then load safari and restart before you use it!

Safari is a huge resource hog under Windows, very sluggish, and unreliable. I recommend Opera 10.5, Firefox, or Chrome as a substitute.

I use firefox and found it slow to load but once up and running it’s flawless!
