Gilda Radner skit, please help!

Asked by rpm_pseud0name (8208points) March 25th, 2010

On NBC, retrospective special on SNL. During a very quick montage of Gilda Radner skits, there was one that stood out that I haven’t seen before (I own The Best of Gilda Radner dvd). She appeared to play the role of a marionette. She was very stiff jointed and was clumsily walking across the stage and bumping into people. Not in control of her movement, perfectly playing a marionette. Please help me find this skit, I would love to see the whole thing. Thank you!!

Is that the one where she and Laraine Newman are the widow and sister of Howdy Doody?

Thats sounds exactly how it looks. Is there a way of viewing this skit online? Or is it locked up in the NBC archives forever?

I think you can download the clip on amazon for $1.99 if you can figure out the season and episode. Let me look…
