Blinds pull cord, how long do you try?

How many times do you pull down & left on the mini blinds pull cord (so the blinds are all the way down) before you want to wrap the cord around your neck & hang yourself right there, for looking so silly, pulling down, then left… down, then left.. Down really hard, then waaaay left, down even more..left? When the blinds end up at the very top of the window, thats when I am at my breaking point & I could just set them on fire. Am I the only one with the mini-blinds that refuse to believe in gravity?

the trick is to pull with one hand, and guide the blinds down with the other, sort of straightening them as they come down. do it slowly.

I’ve done that, one hand on cord, pulling slowly, the other hand lightly grabbing at the bottom. It doesn’t work & I feel even more silly because I feel like I need to ask the blinds to, ‘turn their head & cough.”

Install some wooden blinds if you can afford them. They insulate well and they’re never a pain to deal with. (the custom install jobs are usually ripoffs, though)
