How do i easily convert videos on my ipod into audio files?

I’d just make a stereo mix with Audacity. I know it’s not the best but I’m lazy and wouldn’t want to look for a better way.

What does Audacity do? Does it convert to mp3?

Audacity can record from whatever’s playing out through your sound card; like you could play a Youtube video and record the sound off of it, and export it from Audacity as an mp3. It does other stuff too, like mix tracks with an equalizer and add effects and such, but I just use it as a sound recorder.

@JesusWasAJewbot . Give audacity a try. Its Open source. Just make sure you allocate time for it & use google if you are stuck. They have an IRC thing, so you can get instant response too.

And yes Audacity can extract audio tracks.
