I found a pair of Oakley Bottlecap sunglasses that I think are real - is there a way to tell?

Asked by HeroicZach (195points) April 4th, 2010

Yeah, so my dad came home with a pair of sunglasses that he found discarded while he was out shopping. They’re Oakley Bottlecap sunglasses…or so I think. Is there any distinguishing mark or characteristic on the real thing that sets them apart from a fake?

Just go to Sunglass Hut and ask to see a pair, and put them next to yours. Even if yours look convincing, they probably won’t next to real ones if they are fake.

If they don’t have this they’re probably not Oakleys.
