What are the best dateing sites online?

Asked by Vertexgod (29points) February 5th, 2007
Right now I've been checking out Hotornot, Okcupid, and occationally craigslist (which is hilarious btw). Wondering if there are any other really good free dateing sites out there I might have missed. Seems like most of the pay-sites are a ripoff.

I think sometimes it is worthwhile to pay...especially if you are interested in finding a certain type of person. For example, if you are looking for someone progressive/artsy, Salon.com has a great dating site that is the same as The Onion's personals... Yes, it costs money each month, but it's worth it if you find the right person!

Check out www.fitness-singles.com if you are an outdoors type. My daughter just got 66 reponses from her page there and has found a terrific guy...they ski, mt. bike, hike, etc together in addition to the romantic stuff. Most of these people are more than tattoos and biceps altho there are a few boneheads. I think it is free, but not sure.
