There are hundreds of thousands of wikis.
Every book series, video game, film, tv show, language, clique, genre… now have their own wikis.
There are even some musical artists with their own wikis.

And there’s no “counter” anywhere that keeps track of them all.

Even Fluther has a Wiki.

The last company I worked for has one internally. Probably many or most large companies do by now. Asking how many wikis there are is sort of like asking how many intranets there are. There’s no central list or authority. It’s just a structure that anyone can create and use.

I once asked how many grains of sand there are on the beach? My friends answer? Shut up ya dick head and swim.
