The movie Taken. I actually knew about it before then, but it opened my eyes a bit more.

It’s a very horrible and scary business that anyone could fall victim of. This documentary called “Illicit The Dark Trade” is very compelling and gives a good look at what goes on inside the horrible business and who is affected by it. I have a 5 year old little girl and nothing scares me more than this sort of thing.

Nicolas Kristof is a powerful writer about human degradation and human rights and additionally an activist.
He does columns and a blog for the NYT and has won the Pulizer twice.

I also think that Nicolas Kristof is the journalist that visited one of the heavy populated countries with human trafficking, and actually bought two girls and brought them back to their families. However, one of the girls ran back to center because they addicted her to heroine, and she couldnt live with out it.
