Can you suggest intense classical/techno movie soundtracks?

Asked by metadog (378points) April 28th, 2010

Hanz Zimmer did the soundtrack for Pirates of the Caribbean, and is great! The Matrix Soundtrack was great! The Iron Man movie soundtrack was great. Lord of the Rings… They were all great, energetic orchestra or techno. No words. Can you make a suggestion?

I’m a big fan of Clint Mansell’s soundtracks to “Requiem for a Dream” and “PI.”

Not a movie, but the soundtrack from the original Halo has that kind of a feel to it.

Amelie has an awesome, vibrant semiclassical soundtrack. Great for driving. But in terms of what you’re looking for, you’re not gonna top The Matrix and its sequels.
