Would you offer to show your buddy a picture of your girlfriend's boobs?

Asked by jonsblond (43668points) May 4th, 2010

Why would a nearly 40 year old man offer to show his best friend a picture of his girlfriend’s boobs. This best friend is married, he declined the offer.

I was under the impression this was something a school aged boy would do, not a grown man. Am I wrong?

If it makes any difference, the person making the offer was drunk. but still!?

His ex girlfriend? That might be understandable. Most guys would deck another guy if they caught them staring at a partner’s boobs – let alone abet them in doing so.

Sorry, I think it is the most pathetic thing. The man needs his head read!

@DarkScribe Funny you should ask. On and off girlfriend that caused years of heartache, now wants to settle down after 20 years of using him. He’s horny.

Sounds like an immature thing to do, but I guess being drunk could have something to do with it (or he just doesn’t care about his girlfriend that much).

My ex and I don’t get on very well, so few years ago I asked her new husband whether he wanted some nude photos of her taken in the days when she was still cute and sexy. My ex was not impressed, especially as the husband really looked like he was about to say yes.

Sounds like something my brother in law would do. But then he’s never been right in the head since he got hit off his motorcycle and was in a coma after a week. I hope this guy has the same excuse.
He doesn’t sound like he’s 40 but more like 12.

Another incident happened recently with a man in his late 50’s, offering nude photos of his wife. wtf?

Is it a Midwest thing? lol

Hmmm. Maybe he wants to show off what he has access to. Are they ‘real’ or ‘store bought’? Unless you know the man…know his typical drunken behavior…it’s anyone’s guess what’s in his head. The question is totally out of context, which is why it seems so bizarre and offensive.

@jonsblond I think some people just loose all their marbles after a while.

I feel the same. I’ve known this man for 20 years, but I’ve never known him to do anything like this. It just seems so odd to me. :/

@jonsblond Hate to tell you but you’ve been friends with an idiot for 20 years.

No man who respects his female partner should ever even offer to expose her to violations of her privacy.

Women: If your male partner can’t be trusted to safeguard your privacy even if you should someday go your own ways, then don’t enable him to humiliate you.

I purged all compromising pictures and other media of former partners when those relationships ended. I felt that I no longer should have those things in my possession once the relationships ended.

Violating someone’s trust as a form of revenge degrades and demeans you far more than it does them! Being a decent person even when you can do otherwise is a measure of your true character.

@Pandora lmao….Have I got stories! :)

@jonsblond Then this should be no surprise. This is what happens when you shake a baby. :(

Some men just never get past the ‘boy’ stage, do they? Glad the best friend turned down the offer.

Sophief's avatar

I can’t imagine a grown man doing that, some 20 year old kid maybe, but not a 40 year old. Grown men are normally respectful and proud of their partner, and she is for only him to see.

I’d blame it on the boos. I’d never offer to show a girlfriends breasts, maybe an ex girlfriend, but even then, I doubt I’d offer to show them willingly, and would probably even then be hesitant.

Nah. Yours are way better, so I show off those instead.

No no no no those babies are for my eyes only.Drunk or not that guy’s wired wrong by the sounds of it.

Gross!

My husband has been shown some disgusting things. One day an old coworker told him he had to show my husband something in the office, so my husband went and the guy played a security video of him having sex at work. WTF?
Apparently some guys are just gross.
